LONGi Solar has shipped over 7 GW of mono panels to Indian market

LONGi Solar, the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panels, announced that it has shipped over 7GW of high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panels to India, reaching another momentous milestone since entering the Indian market five years ago.

The company attributes its success to a consistent and hefty focus on innovation and quality. With over 1,387 authorized patents and an investment of more than $600 million in research and development, LONGi has been leading at the solar technology forefront.

Excellent customer service with reliable technical expertise also plays a vital role in the company’s development. LONGi established the Lifecycle Quality program last year to guarantee that its solar products perform reliably and efficiently throughout their lifespan, allowing clients to achieve a high ROI throughout the entire lifecycle of a solar power plant.

LONGi has been a truly transformational company in its strategy with a keen focus on technology leadership along with providing the best value for investment for its customer. Indian developers can discern this differentiation and value our commitment to quality above everything else. Along with this our partnership approach with our customers has been the key reason for this success in the Indian market.

—said Pradeep Kumar, Managing Director for LONGi India

LONGi has been “a trusted partner for all the leading Indian solar developers for the last five years as India strides towards achieving its energy transformation and achieving energy independence,” said Luke Lu, Head of APAC region and Vice President for LONGi.
